In the summer of 2025, a unique interactive demo called Bee Analytics was installed at Absen’s Huizhou Intelligent Manufacturing Centre, in the heart of its spacious Recreation Area. This large LED wall installation, fully visible from all sides of the space, showcases not only the visual performance of Absen displays, but also a next-generation audience measurement system developed by RVC.DIGITAL.
The demo is a direct result of the strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)signed between Absen and RVC.DIGITAL, aiming to bring intelligent analytics and interactivity to the forefront of digital signage.
Bee Analytics is a real-time AI-powered audience measurement demo that visualizes the presence and behavior of viewers through playful animation and invisible data collection.
Whenever someone walks in front of the LED display, a bee character emerges from the digital beehive. The more people stop and watch, the more bees appear — buzzing happily across the screen. When viewers leave, the bees “fly away,” mimicking real-world behavior in an engaging, symbolic way.
But beneath this charming surface lies a powerful artificial intelligence engine, developed by RVC.DIGITAL. The system performs:
This demo is not just an interactive visual; it is a fully functional audience analytics system designed to demonstrate how advertising or informational content on public displays can be measured and optimized.
The bee character used in the animation is not an accident. It has become an iconic symbol of the Absen brand — not only in Asia, but globally — representing warmth, intelligence, reliability, and collective energy. In this demo, the bees act as playful avatars of interaction, inviting passers-by to engage while signaling that their presence has been acknowledged and counted.
This use of branding strengthens the emotional connection between the technology and the viewer, turning a statistical tool into a memorable brand experience.
The demo is installed on a large Absen LED video wall located in the company’s Huizhou Recreation Area, a stylish, open lounge that functions both as a relaxation zone and a high-profile showroom for visiting partners and guests.
This space was chosen deliberately:
The camera used for detection is subtly mounted above the display, and the entire system is calibrated and operated remotely from Hungary by the RVC team. Live viewer statistics — such as “Now: 1 viewer” and “24h total: 104 viewers” — are displayed as part of the interface, offering real-time transparency.
The Bee Analytics demo is powered by a lightweight, modular system that can run on compact Windows PCs. It connects via WebSocket to the RVC analytics backend and supports:
Thanks to the system’s modularity, similar installations can be rolled out to other locations or trade shows with minimal hardware and full remote support.
Bee Analytics is more than a cute animation. It is a functional demonstration of how LED displays can evolve into intelligent, reactive systems — capable of collecting real-time data, supporting marketing optimization, and enhancing brand experience.
The project exemplifies the goals of the Absen–RVC.DIGITAL partnership:
By combining playful design with serious technology, Bee Analytics transforms a showroom wall into a data-driven, brand-enhancing experience.
